Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions, Answered

Which course should I start with?

+
Foundations I is the entry point into the training system and is required before advancing to higher-level programs. No prior experience is required. Foundations II builds directly upon the work established in Foundations I.

Do I need Foundations I before Foundations II?

+
Yes. The practices learned in Foundations I are strengthened and expanded in Foundations II as students begin to understand what they are actually cultivating within their bodies.

What comes after Foundations II?

+
Students who successfully complete Foundations I and II online and both in-person trainings are eligible for Foundations III: Coaching & Teacher Training, coming in Winter 2027. For students interested in eventually pursuing clinical training, the complete Foundations series is a prerequisite for the Institute's Practitioner/Clinical Program.

What is the time commitment each week?

+
Each course meets live online once a week for 16 weeks — Foundations I on Mondays from 4:00–6:00 PM PST, and Foundations II on Mondays at 4:00 PM Pacific | 7:00 PM Eastern. Students are expected to engage with the practices consistently throughout the week.

Is the 3-day live intensive included?

+
Each course is followed by a live three-day intensive. For Foundations II, the intensive is a separate cost and registration from the 16-week online program. Details on the in-person intensives are provided to enrolled students.

What if I miss a live session?

+
While live attendance is strongly encouraged for the most complete training experience, we understand schedules vary. Please contact us directly for details on session policies.
